One of the most important things we do is fundraise through raffles at our tournaments. I am trying to give everyone a head start on this opportunity.

November 25th is Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving (and my birthday-no wonder its black!!!) and many great raffle ideas will be on sale. Last year Walmart had iPod nanos, iPods, Tom-Toms, video players for the cars  on sale very cheaply....all the things we rely on to make travel to games and tournaments enjoyable for all. I know I had a great time with my daughter, Kirk and Keenan getting up at 4:00 am for the "hunt"!

You can go together as families and purchase larger items such as an iPod so that no one has to pay more than $25 per family. Our goal is to have great raffle items and raise money to help keep our costs to skate low. By far we have the lowest fees of many associations and we strive to keep it that way. BUT that means we have to offset those costs through other activities such as this.

Each tournament will also want to identify a food item to be sold through the concession stand (ie: pork sandwiches, walking tacos, etc.. with homemade bars which are always a hit)

Please consider how you can get invovled at your skaters home tournament.

We had so many teams comment on what great experiences they had here last year and some of our teams this year are returning!

Thank you all in advance and please let me know how I can help!
